How to add the bot to your server
Four steps, and the first two are Discord's own install screen.
Click Connect to Discord
From your BotReply workspace, pick Discord and click Connect. You are taken to Discord's own permission screen — the same one you have seen installing any other bot.
Choose your server and authorize
Select the server, click Authorize, and the bot joins immediately. There is no Developer Portal to visit, no application to register, and no bot token to copy and paste — we operate the Discord application for you.
Upload what it should know
Add your documentation, FAQs, setup guides, policies, or pricing. The bot answers from your content rather than from a model's general knowledge of your product.
Decide where it speaks
By default the bot replies only when @mentioned, so it stays out of general conversation. Paste a support channel ID and it answers every message in that channel instead.

How do I add an AI support bot to my Discord server?

Does the bot reply to every message in my server?
No, and that is deliberate. By default it answers only when someone @mentions it, so it stays quiet in general conversation. If you want a channel where every message gets a reply — a #support or #help channel — paste that channel's ID into the channel settings and the bot answers everything posted there.
Does it work in direct messages as well as servers?
Yes. The bot answers direct messages automatically without any extra configuration. In servers it follows the mention or support-channel rules you set, so the same bot can handle private questions and public channel support.
Where do Discord conversations end up?
Every Discord conversation appears in the same BotReply inbox as your other channels, with full message history. Your team can reply as a human from the dashboard and the message is delivered back into the right Discord channel or DM.
Can the Discord bot use the same knowledge base as my other channels?
Yes. Agents belong to a workspace and channels bind to agents, so the Discord bot answers from exactly the same uploaded documentation, FAQs, and policies as your WhatsApp or website agent. Update the content once and every channel reflects it.
What happens if the AI cannot answer a Discord question?
The agent hands off according to the rules you configure — for example when a user asks for a person, or when the AI is not confident. The conversation is flagged in your inbox for a human to pick up, and your reply goes back through the same bot.
Is Discord included on the free plan?
